TAKASHINGA Cricket Club star player Blessing Muzarabani has landed a prized spot in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 playoffs.
The towering fast bowler has been drafted by the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) as a replacement for South African pacer Lungi Ngidi.
This massive feat augments Muzarabani’s hard work and his recent performance has also played a role in this selection,
Since the IPL playoffs are known for their high-stakes cricket and global viewership, the Takashinga fast bowler has an opportunity to exhibit his polished form as well as represent Zimbabwe.
Blessing Ngondo, Takashinga Cricket Club Chairman was excited to share the news of Muzarabani’s recent success.

In the past few months, the pace bowler has been making significant steps in his cricket career. Muzarabani was nominated for the ICC Player of the Month after taking nine wickets for 122 runs, including a six for 72 in the second innings in the test against Bangladesh in April and has now equalled former captain Heath Streak’s record as the fastest Zimbabwean to reach 50 Test wickets.
